The Body Shop has consistently sought after beautiful natural ingredients from all over the world, in attempts to bring you products full of effectiveness, to truly develop your natural beauty. We really strive to use the resources on our planet, wisely, searching for incredible natural materials and ingredients from the four corners of the globe to include in our collection of products.
By continuing to lead the way through discovering sustainable palm oil, putting into action 100% recycled packaging, raising funds and awareness to help prevent the spread of HIV/ AIDS, and supporting marginalized communities around the world, as a company we have core beliefs and really try to play our part. For more than 30 years The Body Shop has sustained that business really does have the power to make the right kind of difference in the world. The unique philosophy in our company continues to fuel everything we accomplish, giving the opportunity for our customers around the world to become ‘activists’, solely by choosing from our range of products. As Dame Anita Roddick once said: “Activism isn’t listed on The Body Shop labels as an ingredient, but it is there as surely as the bergamot and hemp oil”. Community Trade purchase from our Community Trade programme puts a smile on someone's face as far away as Ghana, Nicaragua, Italy and Guatemala. We have succeeded in improving the financial security, comfort and health resources available to farmers, producers and their families in over 20 countries around the world. In 1987 we also proudly launched our pioneering Community Trade programme which now generates benefits for over 25,000 people. We have sought to provide fair wages, to offer work in fair conditions, and a number of other issues, offering help for all those involved in this unique programme. Our commitment to Community Trade continues to grow, with over 65% of our products including the benefits of Community Trade.033680183/033680184/033680185/033680186ext3107
